Youth Choir - Cancelled

Join us for a fun and engaging week of singing, collaboration, and musical growth in this summer youth choir minicamp for students that have completed 8th-10th grades. Students will build vocal technique, learn harmony and blend, and explore a variety of musical styles in a supportive group setting. Throughout the week, participants will develop confidence, musicianship, and performance skills. No audition required—just bring your voice and enthusiasm! Instructor is Associate Professor of Vocal/Choral Music Education Dr. Jeremy Manternach, who is the area chair for music education in the University of Iowa School of Music.

Music Production
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Spend a week exploring the world of digital music production in this hands-on summer minicamp led by Dr. David Haas. Students will learn the fundamentals of creating, recording, and editing music using Logic Pro, exploring everything from beat-making and MIDI instruments to audio recording and mixing. Through guided projects and creative experimentation, participants will produce their own original tracks or remix work by some of their favorite artists. No prior experience is required—just a passion for music and creativity! Equipment and software will be provided by the University of Iowa School of Music.
